The release date of the new album is coming soon. I really can´t wait anymore. Especially here in Austria/Germany it will hit shelves on October 24th. That´s like... in 2 weeks!

But each to their own.

P!nk is #1 in the US Charts! I totally fell off my seat as I read that. I´m glad she´s doing so well.

Finally back!

First of all, Happy Birthday P!nk!!! It comes late, but it´s never too late to wish her the best. I´m sure she had a great one.

Sorry, that there was no post in a long time. I didn´t had time at all. I might make a post every week from now on. Maybe inbetween too, if I feel the lust.

This is a post about the VMA´s that are still in all our heads. What an unforgettable performance our P!nk has rocked!

I hope you like the new blue layout. It reminds me of icy colors or a huge swimming pool. A refreshing place to enjoy the last days of a hot summer.

I have to work a lot this month. I really hope I´m getting my stuff together and show it to you guys regularly. But P!nk will be around much this month (speaking of the VMAs and more upcoming projects). We´ll see...

I just got home from work and I´m anything else but not sober.

Well... it´s September in 2 days and I assure you, that a new layout is coming up.

As you see I´ve made lots of banners (20 of "Don´t let me get me" and "So What" together). I´ll post the last 10 "So What" banners next time with the new layout.

I know, it´s getting old using always the same old textures (especially from Sanami), but I really like them on there, cause I can´t really think of any text and the handwriting is just ace (it´s not a font you can find online by the way).

You might notice a difference between the "Don´t let me get me" and "So What" banners - the first ones have better quality compared to the "So What" ones, but the FNMTV rip is just the best that is around currently.

The first one is a whole creation of mine.

The last wallpaper is made after a Grid (you start with one picture and add one effect each time and it comes out totally different in the end). In this case I´ve followed a Christina Aguilera Grid, which you can find also on BCF.

Yay, it´s August!

After the last horrible layout I decided to make a darker layout again this time. From the colors it´s kinda similar as the first one.

This month will be awesome for all P!nk fans. Therefore I hope I can support our lady with lots of graphics from upcoming pics. As for now enjoy the following ones. On the first ones I worked with the blend mode Color Burn this time. It´s something different as usual. Also on the Album/Single cover ones (more to come later by the way). The last ones are old ones and I don´t really like these. That was at a time where I sharpened my graphics a lot. I didn´t had any real ideas for these. And the text... I couldn´t get any in my mind lately, so I took random text brushes from the web. Credit to their rightful owners. Thanks.

TUTORIAL: AIRBRUSHING/RETOUCHING

Retouching pics is something really funny to do. It´s not difficult once you know how to do it. I´ll explain it for you in this tutorial.

1. Open your picture. It can be any pic. The best ones are pics, where the person on it doesn´t look the best. I chose an unflattering Photoshoot pic of P!nk where she doesn´t look too good. She looks like she hasn´t slept for days at that Coachella Festival.

I have cropped mine, cause it´s a bit large.

2. Now we begin. Choose a soft round brush that isn´t too large and fitting on P!nk´s parts. Put the opacity between 30%-40%.
Before you start chose the Pipette tool in the toolbox. It´s one of the last tools. Now choose the part with it you want to cover such as eyerings, freckles, etc.
Work your way down from face to toe always in little steps. The skin of a person is something you can work on most as there are always inches you can retouch. Nobody is perfect looking.

Keep in mind that it´s like this: 1st chose always the pipette to find the color of the part you want to airbrush and then go on with the brush. It´s really not difficult.

Here´s my result:

It looks like it´s finished already and you could quit this tutorial. But if you wish to add something like in the following steps on the picture, you can continue it.

3. Now we put on a glossy effect on the picture. Duplicate your picture, set the opacity of it to 30%-40%, blend mode to Normal.
Now go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur. Set the radius to 2,0 pixel and click OK. Merge the layers.

4. Now chose the Sharpening tool from you toolbox. It looks like a triangle. You might have to right click on the Blur tool which look like a drop to select this tool.
Choose a fitting size and a good strength. I chose 50%. Sharpen parts like eyes, hair and lips to make them stand out. Don´t forget things that glitter like rings, chains, piercings etc...

5. We´re finished. Now we can compare. She definately looks fresher and younger now.

The new P!nk era is already beginning. August will be the month our lady will be busy a lot. Therefore I hope we will get to see a lot of pictures and hear some new music from the new album.

I loved the "I´m not dead" era. i made Text icons as you can see and the Blender Photoshoot just has to be my favorite - in honor of the last amazing era. Not my favorite pic though I worked with, but amazing enough.

I´m planning on making a "Retouch/Airbrush" tutorial for next time. So stay tuned!

EDIT: Here´s another Birthday present I got from sunnychrisla who even made a new entry for my birthday. I feel honored. It´s gorgeous. Thanks hon.

This might be now the shortest post ever in here. But oh well. As long as new pics of P!nk (which happens now almost every day) are coming, I´m doing my best to produce some new things and post them on here. The promo of the new album is in its pre-phase, so hopefully we get to see more pics (especially Photoshoots - the best!) of Alecia, so I can show you what I´ve been making out of them like in the following icons...

Black & White pics are magic pics. You can do almost everything with them especially colorising (but I´m worse at that so let´s keep them untouched). I hope you like this set of icons. Actually it´s a good thing to concentrate only on one thing and don´t have to hurry to produce a lot more things. That´s how you can put your whole energy in works like these. So don´t worry, if the following posts might come too short - I will post regularly though like always... 2-3 days. Enjoy this bunch of icons for now.
